PERSONALITY OVERVIEW: Alistair is very ambitious. He doesn't simply want to make a place for himself or avenge the deaths of his parents. He would like to see Lord Voldemort defeated.. and himself as the new Dark Lord in his place. So needless to say, he is very drawn to dark magic.

He appreciates all sides of life, but is very sceptical and doesn't do well with silliness. He is cold, sharp and analytical, all about facts and never showing any emotions. Being around people can make him impatient, but it is rare that he even shows that. However, he is not a traitor, nor a cheat. He is steady, determined, and follows his own code of honour. So it's not that he's mean, he just doesn't always see the value in being nice.

What, then, does he value? The answer is knowledge. Knowledge is the key to power. Alistair is a rare sight outside of class, because he spends all of his time in hidden corners of the library or in his perch atop a bookshelf in Ravenclaw tower. He wants to learn as many spells as possible, magic of all nature.

HISTORY OVERVIEW: Alister and Choko's father, Edward, was born into one of those pompous, pureblood Slytherin families. His marriage to Jane, who was one of their maids, caused a split with them; but apparently not a huge one, because he still joined the Death Eaters at the outbreak of the first war. The war was nearing its abrupt end when something (neither of them liked to talk about what) happened that ended in Edward's disgrace and booting from the service. It also contributed to Jane's being sent to Azkaban when the twins were seven years old. She was not a Death Eater herself, and the consensus was that she was framed.

They grew up in a small house, barely getting by, the Fenworth fortune belonging only to their parents' distant memories. Laying low, but unable to live any higher. Alistair and Choko spent a lot of time running loose in the city. Their defeated father was not cruel, but he was distant. The house was bleak and empty without their mum, but she never got out, and ended up dying in Azkaban some years later.

Choko and Alistair went to Hogwarts when they were eleven like any magical kids, and were soon separated into different houses; it did not, however, effect their connection much. The paths of their lives favoured a slow drift apart. Both were drawn to Dark magic, even when the Dark Lord returned- and Death Eaters finally found and killed their father. Alistair is now making the most of his last years at Hogwarts, preparing for whatever dark future may come his way.
