Dark, cold, and miserable looking the potions room lies in the depths of the Castle. The stone gives off no heat and there really is only so much lanterns can do so bring a coat to Potions class, you might need it.

The halls are usually empty and cold as the rest of the Dungeons are, not much is down here but the Slytherin Dormitory and the Potions room.

A hidden entrance with the speaking of a password will grant you access to the well heated Common Room and cozy dormitories that the Slytherin's stay in, a contrast to the stone chilly dungeons. Everything is decked in green, the Slytherin color and if you are not one of them, prepare yourself for an unfriendly greeting.

It looks just like a regular classroom with desks and chairs and a door tucked away in the corner leading to a office. However, most classrooms have people in them...and personal touches... this is just dusty and empty.

In a different area of the levels below ground than the Slytherin dungeon is the Hufflepuff basement. It is a long, low room with a few bright fireplaces and banners bearing the House colors of yellow and black.
